  • Complete set of documents first thing first, does not matter for what purpose are you going abroad, you should always go to the embassy with a complete set of documents. incomplete documents for a specific purpose can cause a much likely delay in the process and might cause refusal as you will not have enough proves your point and justify your situation. therefore it is recommended that you should make a checklist of your documents and prepare them accordingly.
  • Be On Time You should always arrive at the embassy ahead of the time as there are always some security checkups and other protocols to follow. that is why if you arrive late it might cost you denial of access to the embassy. and if you are lucky enough, you will get another appointment especially study visa.
  • Be Confident  You should have enough confidence in yourself. because it is very simple, if you do not believe in yourself then how would the visa officer believe in you? hence, it is advised that be cool and be confident in front of the visa officer, most of them are very gentle and they just talk like normal human beings, that is why you do not have to be afraid of them. React, behave and answer normally and do not get nervous.
  • Brief answers You should answer the visa officer a brief answer when he asks you a question, and by brief I mean, your answer should not be very long nor should it be very short. Do not look for the difficult vocabulary while answering, as not only the visa officer might get confused by it is very possible that you might get yourself confused. You Should speak normally, do not speak fast or show them you are in Rush.
what sort of questions should I expect?
  • Questions About Your Purpose The first thing every visa officer ask and try to understand is the purpose of your application for the visa. for example, he or she might ask,
  • why do you want to go to *** country?
  • what is the name of your University or Where is it Located?
  • have you applied for other universities as well?
  • why have you chosen this university?
  • how did you hear about this university?
  • what course are you going to study and which department.?
  • what have you previously studied?
  • How long/what is the duration of your course of Study?
  • is the same course available in your country?
  • why don't you study the same course here?
  • why *** country? why not other countries?
  • what are your plans after the study?
  • what were you doing for the past *** years? (if you have study gap).
  • Questions About Your Financial Position The second thing they always ask about your Finacial position. eg,
  • Who is going to finance/support or pay for your study?
  • what is your/your father's/guardian source of income?
  • what is your guardian's gross annual income?
  • Do you have any commercial/residential Property?
  • what is your relation which your sponsor?
  • why is he/she financing you?
  • Questions About Your Family/self depend on the interviewer, he might ask it before everything, or might at number 3. the questions related to this section could be,
  • what is your name?
  • what is your date of birth?
  • are you married?
  • do you have children?
  • How many siblings do you have?
  • do you have any family member in *** country?
  • do you have any criminal background?
  • where are you going to stay during your study?
  • do you have any illness?
